ABSC uses City of Berkeley fields. They make the call each day at 2pm as to whether fields are open or closed. Even if the sun is shining, fields may be closed for being too wet. If it has rained in the past 24hrs generally, fields will be closed. 1000+ kids running around with cleats (followed by the adult soccer use at 7pm) on wets field will quickly ruin their use for weeks to come.

During Spring Season, ABSC encourages our players to continue to develop their skills while playing with classmates and friends. Co-ed, all girls and all boys teams offered. You may self-select to choose a specific team. You may also request to play with friends/team when registering.

ABSC Camps welcome kids ages 4 to 19 of all skill level who want to spend time developing their soccer skills while having a lot of fun.

As campers, your kids will always be actively engaged in learning and developing their skills to become a better soccer player. The warmth, humor, proficiency and dedication of our experienced coaching staff keep it light, keep it fun, while the kids build their skills and have a great time.

Serving as a referee is an excellent way for adults and teens to increase their knowledge of the game, step onto their familiar field in a new capacity and earn money. In addition, teens can get work experience and be role models for younger kids.

To become a referee for the upcoming Spring Season, ABSC is offering two FREE courses:

March 3 & 4 entry -level Grade 8 Certification Course (Ages 14 and up) 9 am – 3 pm
March 4 Introduction to Referring (Ages 12 to 14) 9-noon – to serve as an ABSC in-house referee (U7-U10)
