The ABSC ‘World Cup’ event is a one-day soccer celebration and a great way to kick-off your fall soccer season. The format is 4v4 on small fields. Each team is guaranteed 3 games with possible final. While the format is a competition, the attitude is a love for the game.

The 4v4 format is all about lots of touches, lots of movement and lots of fun. No goalies allowed. For the kids games we are requesting that the adults assist their players in helping with the logistics – but leave the Soccer up to the kids – we encourage you to sit back and be more of an observer and let the kids surprise you. They won’t always make the ‘right’ decisions regarding team formation, positions (or lack thereof) etc. – but it will be their decision and they will learn from their successes and failures. The 4v4 ‘open’ format will allow for multiple ‘teams’ to be formed from within existing teams or for kids to ‘mix and match’ and play with kids they don’t normally get to play with. Its a blast!

The ABSC World Cup is a competition – we will do our best to ‘flight’ teams into groups with teams of equivalent strength – but at the end of the day we are emphasizing the participation and the experience. Not every team will win their flight – but that’s ok.

No league or club uniforms – wear your team’s country colors! No advertising!
Only ads allowed are those approved in advance by ABSC for ABSC partners.

Players in born 2011 to 2013 to are invited too! Our younger players can enjoy the Soccer Arcade (free) and see the lightening quick games of the tournament.
